This development consisted of the complete refurbishment of a block of 30 warden assisted flats with a wardens maisonette, splitting the wardens maisonette into two separate flats making a total of 32 warden assisted flats.
The electrical works consisted of new installations throughout to all 32 flats consisting of a new dual RCD consumer unit, low energy lighting, small power, mains fire detection, heating controls & ventilation. Works to communal areas consisting of low energy lighting and lighting control system, external communal & landscape lighting, small power and mechanical plant power supplies, PV systems, Door Entry & Access Control system, automated door openers, Warden Call system to all flats and communal areas.
A challenging installation for the fact the building was occupied throughout the works, of which all residents were elderly and vulnerable, we ensured throughout the contract that all works were completed in a timely and professional manor, within budget and to programme. We ensured that at all times the residents were made aware of the works and the stages which may have had an impact on them.
